The viral short story The Egg was published by Andy Weir in 2009. A video of the story followed on YouTube in 2019. Although it first sounds like a serial reincarnation philosophy, it eventually turns out to be a parallel existence of a single godly entity within all people on earth during all times. This is quite similar to my story, even if Andy is rather anthropocentric and forgets to comprise all non-human beings, including animals. ;-) Also, the learning as the main purpose of this whole process is quite similar.
However, I see a principal difference to my story in the fact that in The Egg there exists a higher authority – a superior God who is judging the learning progress of the younger God – his child. Here, my story differs.
